Sponsorship

The University of Strathclyde is the sponsor of the CARE-PAC trial. Sponsorship arrangements, indemnity, and oversight follow UK Health Research Authority (HRA) requirements.

Ethics

Ethical approval will be sought from the relevant NHS Research Ethics Committee. Approval references will appear above as soon as they are issued. The trial will be conducted in accordance with the principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and the Declaration of Helsinki.

Data protection

Personal and clinical data will be handled in accordance with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and the trial’s data sharing agreement. Detailed information for participants will be provided in the Participant Information Sheet, available from your care team once recruitment opens.
